Dom. Mucyn 2022 St. Joseph Blanc "Les Carats"
Borne of soils both granitic and schistous, this capacious wine shows off the grand possibilities of Roussanne like few others. The nose may be explosively honied, but there is a limpidity to the flavour which skirts all hint of excess. The hint of almond-skin bitterness in the tail is a lovely fillip to the gorgeous fruit that precedes.
